Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in financial budgeting and modeling, forecasting and analysis.

  • Provide acquisition integration support.
  • Provide process/policy development support.
  • Provide support on other various special projects, as needed.

Advantage Engineers is hiring a Learning and Development Manager/HR Generalist to incorporate both L&D and some HR generalist duties in support of our growing organization. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, this position will play a critical individual contributor role on our Talent Management team.

What you’ll do:

Learning & Development duties:

  • Create and deliver new and existing learning content to support the development of the business. This will include both instructor-led and online modes. Subject matter will include management, team effectiveness, business knowledge and corporate practices.
  • Research and identify external training resources to fit the business needs, such as software training and compliance training.
  • Provide key support to corporate initiatives (eg. Leadership Development Program, Performance Management, New Employee Orientation, etc.)
  • Act as learning point-of-contact for business operations, crafting learning solutions to their needs.
  • Support Division managers with their technical training needs, including delivery methods and tracking systems.
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned or emerge in this role.

HR Generalist duties:

  • Provide support to HR department in all areas, including but not limited to orientation / onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations and retention, EEO compliance and labor relations.
  • Complete special projects by clarifying project objectives, setting timetables and schedules, conducting research, developing and organizing information.
  • Support company culture by understanding and modeling the company mission, vision, and values.

You should have:

  • Five years’ experience within Training / Learning and HR role, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Demonstrated instructional design capability, both through formal training and practical on-the-job application.
  • Experience delivering communications, professional development and managerial learning and development solutions.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills.
  • Demonstrated facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Excellent MS Office skills, preferably at an advanced level (incorporating sound, video, embedded files, custom animations).

Advantage Engineers is seeking Transportation Construction Inspectors and Supervisors to work on various transportation and public works projects located throughout Pennsylvania. If you are looking to join a team of engineers known for their depth of technical expertise, outstanding ingenuity, and rock-solid reliability, then look no further than Advantage Engineers.
 
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Construction inspection for structures, roadways, and municipal projects
  • On-site, daily observation of construction activities to ensure compliance of regulations, safety standards, best practices.
  • Active coordination and communication with site manager
  • Reading of blueprints to ensure accuracy of project plans and specifications.

General Skills:

  • Must possess a strong work ethic and be able to operate independently
  • Must possess excellent communication and technical writing skills.

Education & Experience:

  • 2 years+ of construction oversight and/or inspection experience
  • High school diploma (or equivalent)
  • ACI Concrete Certification, NICET Certification, NECEPT Bituminous and Concrete Certifications preferred.
  • Associate's Degree in a related technical field a plus

Other:

  • A valid driver's license is required
  • Must be able to work in an on-site/outdoor environment
